Najszybsza metoda aby zacząć mówić płynnie po angielsku

Fluency in English is one of the most productive(produktywny) skills you can possess. Being the most spoken language in the world, English opens up many doors of opportunities(możliwości) for you.

However, as many of us know, learning a new language, especially one as complicated(skomplikowany) and confusing(mylące) as English is not an easy task. English, especially, can be very intimidating(zastraszające) and overwhelming. As an adult, learning English can take incredible(niesamowite) amounts of effort, practice, and time. More so, if you do not have the luxury of taking time off to focus only on learning English.

But don’t lose hope yet. Learning English can be quick, time-saving, and even fun(szybkie, oszczędzające czas, a nawet zabawne) if you do it right.

The Immersive Method:

One of the easiest scientifically proven ways of learning English fast is to incorporate English practices into your daily lives. Often called the immersive(wciągająca) method, this method requires you to surround yourself and your experience with English. This means changing all your social media and digital accounts to English, surrounding yourself with people that are willing to converse with you in English, watching only English movies, and reading only English books.

It is the quickest and the most efficient way to achieve fluency in a language, as it doesn’t just teach you how to speak, write, or understand the language, but it forces you to start thinking in the language.

This method is the natural method used by babies when they learn how to speak. By surrounding yourself with English, you will not only learn vocabulary, but also gain a deeper understanding of the rhythm, syntax, and organization of the language, that you cannot understand so quickly in a classroom set up.

However, you will soon find that it is not possible to dive straight into this immersive method of language learning. You have to attain a certain basic level of foundational knowledge of English, without which you will be rendered helpless to do even the most essential things in your daily life. Therefore, before committing entirely to this method, we would recommend that you first begin with a few weeks of classroom learning.

A Quick Tip:

The best way would be if you learn some vocabulary and grammar before committing to saying, changing your phone’s language to English.

However, the most critical aspect of quickly learning English, or any new language, is to change your mindset. Many people approach learning a new language with frustration and hesitation. Especially when learning a language so widely used such as English, learners are often afflicted with a displaced sense of inferiority and embarrassment, which makes them particularly conscious of their pronunciations, and grammar. However, to learn English quickly, it is imperative to get rid of these false notions and practice with an open mind.

It is okay to make mistakes:

In fact, the large majority of the people who grew up speaking fluently, and whose first language is English, often use bad grammar and terrible pronunciations. Think about it, do you speak in your first language perfectly and without any mistakes? No, of course not.

Remember that fluency is not about speaking a language with textbook correct grammar, and an extensive vocabulary. Yes, these things can help, but real fluency will be achieved when you can use a language without hesitation to communicate your needs, feelings, and desires to another person.

In fact, an easy way to get the hang of English is to make comparisons with the languages you already know. English is often called three languages in a trench coat, due to its tendency to adopt the rules and words of any other language it comes across. If you look carefully, you are sure to share similar terms and grammatical rules in English with your native tongue.

When you learn English, make mental connections with similar aspects of any other language, you know. This will help you remember the rules, and also help you speak the language with fluency and natural rhythm.

The easiest and fastest way to learn English is to dive(nurkować) straight in without any inhibitions and not to overthink. It is a skill which you will improve with practice; it is not something you can learn by spending a few hours studying from a textbook.

By surrounding yourself with English, and practising every day, you will achieve fluency(płynność) in minimal time.

Due to COVID-19 pandemic, educational(edukacyjny) institutions(instytucje) have been scrambling to get online and continue their classes. Among all this chaos, confusion, and uncertainty, a variety of online conference calling facilities cropped up. Primarily, Zoom, an American app which has taken over the world within a few weeks, as the most popular choice of educational and professional institutions. Google too, has revamped the old Google Hangouts to the new and swanky(szykowny) Google Meet, which is also gaining more popularity. Thirdly, the tried and tested, reliable old Skype.

To choose among these is a task in itself. To simplify it for you, here are the significant features, advantages and disadvantages of each.

Zoom

The nine-year-old app, which became a household name across the globe due to the pandemic is unquestionably the most popular(popularny) video conferencing application out there. Schools, coaching centres, and other educational institutions, reaching as high and exclusive as Harvard and Stanford have chosen Zoom has their preferred(preferowane) mode of online teaching(nauczanie online).

Among its other benefits, Zoom’s appeal has much to do with its easy interface, allowing even those with minimal technical knowledge and experience to use it. Additionally, unlike most other conference calling apps, Zoom offers an unprecedented(bez precedensu) free 40-minute call which can include up to 100 participants. Moreover, there is no need for participants to have a Zoom account or membership to join the call.

Despite these overwhelming benefits of using Zoom, the app has also been facing several security threat allegations(zarzuty) since its creation. Issues with its end to end encryption and other security features have to lead to instances of user emails and photos being leaked. However, Zoom has been working hard to fix these issues.

Zoom also has a reputation of having unexpected technical issues, especially when one is entering a call, and with the passwords. This may hamper the smooth flow of the class, as students may be unable to join the meeting.

Google Meet

Google’s revamped video calling service, Google Meets, much like everything else in Google is one of the best in the arena. If you are experienced with the old Google Hangouts, you will be glad to know all the same facilities continue to be available. However, it is not as accessible as Zoom. This cloud-based video conferencing service generally aims to cater to businesses and corporations. Individual users cannot fully access the services of Google Meets without purchasing a G Suit package, which comes at the base price of 6 USD.

However, for the next month (until September 30th), Google has enabled free video conferencing for schools and businesses due to the Cover crisis. Post this period, you will need to continue to pay for this facility.

The best part about Google Meets: It allows cross-connections to Google Calendar, Drive etc., allowing faster and easier workflow.

Skype

A pioneer(pionier) of video conferencing, Skype has a beautiful history of connecting people from all over the world. Despite the arrival of newer and superior interfaces, Skype still clings to its popularity due to its high level of security and traditional interface.

In teaching, using Skype is useful as most devices already have the app downloaded, and most students will be already familiar with its usage. Furthermore, suppose the student demographics tend towards the older population. In that case, Skype’s traditional phonebook type interface will be easier to explain than the newer ones of Google meets and Zoom, which are link dependent.

However, Skype loses much of its charm for an online classroom, as it only allows a conference call with a maximum of 50 participants. Additionally, the video and voice quality is notoriously low and can hamper the smooth flow of the class. However, if the class is to be taught in small groups or in one to one interaction, Skype’s facilities are more than enough.

Beyond this, teachers(nauczyciele) should also note that Skype isn’t as accessible as Zoom, as you need to have a Skype account to participate in classes; however, unlike Google meets, it is free.

In the process of learning a language, the knowledge of words and their right use is extremely important. Learning basic words of any language and their use are fairly easy in this age of technology but in order to sustain the knowledge, regular practice with consistent efforts of learning new words is required.

We understand that consistency comes with a lot of burden and additional tasks. Our project Chat with Natives reduces this burden and makes the task very easy for the learners. We provide an organized set of lessons in which the learner can practise and improve his / her vocabulary on a regular basis.

  • Learn new words every day and use them in your day to day conversation. If you are not comfortable yet about your English you can try our classes for regular practice.

  • Make a separate notebook and note down your new words that you have learned. Make a list of synonyms and antonyms( words with similar meaning and opposites) for the words that you have written in the notebook.
  • Take grammar and vocabulary tests on a daily basis ( Try the grammar tests available on our portal)

Develop the habit of writing(pisanie). Try to write at least 150-200 words once or twice in a week and evaluate the mistakes that you have made. You can also take our lessons, where our teachers will look at your written work and will help you in your improvement.

Reading(Wskazówka) is probably the best way through which learners can improve their knowledge of words. This skill helps learners to understand the right use of a particular word along with the cultural context. For reading suggestions the learners can follow certain Instagram pages or Youtubers. Watch this video for more suggestions on which books to read.

If you are not into reading books, you can read news, articles  from various apps like Inshorts or you can also read short answers on Quora. These apps will not take much time from the learner’s schedule and can provide significant results.

  • TIP(Wskazówka): Keep your Dictionary handy while reading. They not only provide the meaning but root of the words.

Watch an English film or a television series (along with subtitles). This is the most fun way of acquiring language vocabulary. Films or any cultural media not only improve the knowledge of words but also help learners to understand various accents of one language.

Play games like Pictionary, Letter scramble, word bingo etc. You can take certain suggestions from the link: https://www.fluentu.com/blog/educator-english/esl-vocabulames/
